Football!

Football is a game where two teams play on a field that is 100 yards long. The teams have 11 positions, and every position has a special job.   The object of the game is to get the ball to the opposite endzone. This earns your team six points. If your team kicks the ball through the goal post that earns you and extra point. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Football is my favorite sport because it’s active and there are a lot of positions to play. You can tackle and hit people and intercept and swat the ball. You get to score until your coach takes you out of the game. You can kick a field goal, score a touchdown, or get a safety, which is where you tackle the other team in their endzone while they have the ball.

Football is the best sport I have ever played.  I give this sport 5 paws.

They Didn't Invent the Chicken, Just the Chicken Sandwich

Have you ever been to Chick-fil-a? Well if you haven’t, their food is delicious! Chick-fil-a is a fast food restaurant that serves great chicken dishes. They have amazing chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches, and chicken salads.

I like this fast food restaurant because they not only have food, but they have a place to play afterwards. They have a big play area for ages three and up. There is a slide, a play car, and a fake tree house.

One thing I dislike about Chick-fil-a is that they don’t deliver. This is one of a few restaurants that I've been to that does not deliver. If you want a sandwich or a pizza you can have it delivered to your house. But there is not a restaurant that delivers chicken.

I recommend Chic-fil-a for anyone that expects good service. I give this fast food place 5 paws.

Will the Warrior Cats Survive the Danger of the Forest?

In the book Warriors, Into the Wild, Rusty, a normal house cat, got very interested in the forest. His friend, Smudge, warned him not to go there because there are other cats in the woods that are dangerous. But Rusty didn’t listen and went anyway. What he discovers there will change him forever.

I love this book because it has lots of adventure and it never bores me and I get bored easily. One example is all the battles between the thunder clan and river clan in which two cats died. I also liked this book because it made me cry. For example, when cats die or when one gets hurt.

This book is amazing if you love animals. I think you will love it and I give this book 5 paws.

NBA 2K13

Imagine to be in a video game. NBA 2K13 is NBA national basketball players play in a game where you shoot basketball hoops. The video game is a little weird, because it has celebrities like Justin Beiber and a lot more. If you have online you can play with other people. It might be hard. There are a few newer things on than NBA 2k13 than 2k12 and all I can remember My Career, My Legend, and NBA Black Top. Here a few things about those new features. On My Career you create a person and upgrade to play basketball in order to help your team win. My Legend is like the same thing, but you pick a player to be your legend. On NBA Black Top you can play on-on-one, two-on-two, all the way to five-on-five.
What I like about this game is how you can just practice with a bunch random of basketball players. Do you know Michael Jordan? If you pick him, he can dunk from the free throw line. Another thing I like to do is create a small person and make him be able to dunk. You can also play as legends like Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. These are people that can shoot threes. The best blocker in this game is Shaquille O’Neal. I was playing NBA Black top With O’Neal, and the guy I was versing didn’t make a shot with him blocking.
Now play the game, and figure out the rest.

I give this game 5/5 paws.

A Ball of Yarn

Think about it: what if you were made of yarn?

In this game for the Nintendo Wii, you are basically a pink puffball that is called Kirby. The story begins when a sorcerer made of YARN called Yin-Yarn captures Kirby by sucking him into a MAGIC SOCK that teleports Kirby to a place called Patchland. There he meets a blue boy named Prince Fluff. Prince Fluff is native to Patchland and is trying to sew his home back together with magic yarn. Yin-Yarn stole the magic yarn from Patchland and is now attempting to take over Dreamland and turn everybody into yarn. That’s right… yarn. This is NOT weird at all… apparently.

*Spoiler Alert*
I liked Kirby’s Epic Yarn because it’s so fun. You can never lose a life; only lose beads (Patchland’s form of money). There are 9 worlds to play in, and you need all of the magic yarn to stitch together Prince Fluff’s home. Once you beat 8 bosses, you will travel through yet again another MAGIC SOCK that teleports you to Dreamland, where Yin-Yarn has turned into a yarn… well, I guess a PARADISE made of yarn for him. After you defeat the stage Dedede Castle (I prefer to call King Dedede King Fatpenguin because he’s a fat penguin), you get a Happy Bells patch (I don’t remember what it’s called; I only know it has something to do with bells) and Yin-Yarn will come out. This fight was pretty fun, but most other bosses are hard if you’re used to playing with somebody like your friend or sibling. Oh, unless you have played solo the entire game. Congrats, you have just beaten Kirby’s Epic Yarn! There are extra stages that you do not actually HAVE to play to get through that world just absolutely DIEING to be played. Those, I believe, are extra levels for more fun. There are levels like Meta Melon Isle (what?) and Battleship Halberd, but those are both in Dreamland. There are others in the worlds like Grass Land and Space Land (that sounds ridicules). You can also play hide and seek with some floating yarn thing named Zeke, who lives in a home with only two pieces of furniture in it: a flower couch and a flower clock. The weird thing is, you don’t know if Zeke is a boy or a girl, so she/he doesn’t make sense. But hey, who really cares? I certainly don’t. I just play hide and seek with Zeke. Oh, hey, that rhymed. (Zeke and seek).

So, if you like games with extremely cute characters, I give this game 5 paws. Also: I think Kirby is cuter than a kitten in a cup. He’s absolutely ADORABLE!

The Pet Store

The pet store is a cool place. When you walk in you will see the rabbits and Guinea pigs. In the middle of the store is the stuff the animals need like food, cages, and toys. If you go past the food and the other stuff for the animals there are the lizards and baby parrots. The little parrots are in cages because they can fly. If they weren’t caged they’d fly everywhere. The bigger parrots are not in cages because the employees cut the parrot’s flight feathers.

In my opinion, I think the pet store is the best place to go when you don’t have anything to do. It is a fun place to go, and you can make friends with the animals. And hopefully you have enough money to get an animal.

The bad part about the pet store is that it has a horrible smell, and they don’t have a lot of animals in the store. But the worst thing is the prices. It cost like $2500 for a Cockatoo parrot, and the cages for the animals are definitely not cheap!

If you love animals, this would be a good place for you to go. I give the pet store four paws.
