Third Wheel Wins!
Greg and Rowley are in middle school and are best friends. They have 3 days left to find dates for the dance. Rowley meets this girl, Holly Hills, and Greg thought Holly was going to be his date, but she liked Rowley more. But Holly has a secret … one that she’s itching to tell.
I liked this book because it’s really funny. For example, one time Greg used Rowley’s toothbrush to scrape dog poop off his shoe without telling Rowley he did it. Kind of gross, but funny! Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a really funny read!
I would recommend this to people who like comedy, and I give this book five paws!

Dog Days!
Diary of a wimpy kid is about a kid
named Greg who wants to be popular at school. That’s going to be hard at the
rate he’s going. Will he ever be popular?
I like this book because of all the
trouble that Rodrick gets his brother Greg in. Like once Rodrick was going to
hurt Greg, so Greg ran to his room locked the door. Unfortunately, he had to
use the restroom. Rodrick left his shoes in front of the crack under Greg’s
door, so he thought he was waiting for him. Greg gets so desperate he finally
makes a break for it and opens the door. Rodrick had left his shoes but he wasn’t
there. When Greg runs to the restroom Rodrick was in the shower and scared him.
Greg was so frightened he peed on Rodrick.
Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing!
This book is
about a kid named Peter. Fudge, his younger brother, ruins everything. Peter
can’t even own a turtle without Fudge eating it. Will Fudge ever grow up?
I loved this
book. It has some sarcasm, and, even though Peter is very serious, the book is
really funny. For example, when Peter was working on his project, he left his
poster on the floor. Fudge walked in and scribbled all over his assignment. Each
page is a new adventure!

Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing
Tales of A Fourth
Grade Nothing is about a fourth grader named Peter and his younger brother,
Fudge. Fudge always gets into Peter’s stuff, and his mom doesn’t care, and she’s
always focusing on Fudge. Will Peter ever get any attention?
I liked this book
because it was really funny. For example, when Fudge wouldn’t eat his cereal,
his dad said … “eat it or wear it,” and then he dumped the cereal on Fudge’s
head! I think this book is funny when Fudge and Peter and Peter’s friend went
to the park with Fudge and was not watching him and Fudge went to play and jumped
off the side of the slide and his two
teeth was gone when they looked at him. When Fudge drew all over Peter’s
project, he also he had a birthday and he had some friends that didn’t like to
share. This is the funniest book I have read. It makes you wonder what is going
to happen next. That’s why I really like this book.
I give it five paws!

Holes
I liked this book because I like adventure books and this is an adventure! For example, when Stanley escapes there is a lot of action. It had so much adventure; I couldn’t put the book down!
I recommend this book for people who like adventure book, and I give this book 5 paws.

Out in the Cold!
Have you ever been stuck in a cabin in the
cold? Well, for Greg Heffley he has. To make matters worse, Greg’s mom places a
Christmas doll on the mantle, and it scares Greg. Will the snow ever melt and
let him get away from this doll?
I really liked this book because it’s
really funny. An example is one time while Greg was showering, Rodrick put the
Christmas doll in the bathroom and when Greg got out it scared him half to
death. I laughed my head off.

Harry Potter Full of Twists and Turns!
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is the 3rd book in the series. The book is about a murderer who escaped from Azkaban (wizard jail). His name his Sirius Black. He killed 50 Muggles (nonmagic people) and 1 wizard in one spell. One night at Hogwarts Harry, Ron, and Hermione were coming from Hagrid’s hut when a black dog attacked them. Ron was dragged down a tree. Harry and Hermione went after Ron and the black dog. Will they get there in time to save him?
I like this book because it has a lot of twists and turns. I don’t want to give anything away, but let’s just say that the reader is led to believe something that is not true. I love books that do this.
I recommend this book and give it five stars!

Underpants are Awesome!
I liked this book because it’s enjoyable and funny. For example, the boys create fliporama pages where you flip them back and forth and it looks like they are moving. This is a great read!
This book is so funny that you will laugh your socks off. I give this book four paws.

Harry's First Adventure!
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was an awesome book full of suspense, friendship and most of all, magic. Harry’s parents, Lily and James Potter, were murdered by the most powerful Dark Wizard of all, Lord Voldemort (a.k.a. He - Who – Must – Not – Be – Named). Harry had to live with his only living relatives, Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon Durlsey and his cousin Dudley, without being told he was a very famous wizard. Harry was made famous because he was the only person alive to not die from the killing curse: Avada Kedavra. He goes through many trials and tribulations to find Lord Voldemort and the sorcerer’s stone. Is he going to get the stone and make it out alive, or will he die trying to obtain the sorcerer’s stone? If you want to find out for yourself, I suggest that you read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.
In all, I thought Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was an awesome book. One thing that made me like this book so much to do a review is the way the author J.K. Rowling made the characters’ personalities. For example, the way how a Slytherin boy named Draco Malfoy acts toward Harry and how Harry’s friend Hermione Granger always raises her hand when an in-class question is asked. So, like I said, I really liked this book.
I give Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone a rating of five paws.

Frindle is an Okay Read ...
I thought
Frindle was a good book, but it was not my favorite. The reason why is because
it was funny, but I’ve read funnier books before. For example, the first day
Nick was in class he was trying to waste time so they wouldn’t get any
homework. Then he asked a question, and the teacher made him research it, so he
got double homework instead. Overall, the book was okay.
If you like
funny books, I’d recommend this book. I give this book 3 paws.

The Kingdom of Fantasy Rocks!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live in a
land full of ogres, fairies, and talking animals? Well, in The Kingdom of
Fantasy, Geronimo Stilton knows all too well.
He goes on an
adventure to find the heart of happiness, but finds that he has to go through the
land of ogres to find the map of paradise. He looks on the map and finds that
he must travel to the land of sweets, the land of toys, the land of comfort,
the land of gold, and the land of fairy tales. None of the lands had the heart of happiness. Will
he ever find what he’s looking for, or will he die trying?
In my opinion I think the book Kingdom of Fantasy is a
great read because it has characters like the dragon of the rainbow, the chameleon
named boils, and a giant, Queen Blossom. Another reason I like this book is
because the dragon of the rainbow. He goes on the adventures with Geronimo and
helps him travel place to place without walking, and I think that is a big help
to Geronimo. I also liked all the lands in the book. My most favorite was the
land of gold because it’s a kid’s dream to hold gold. I think the book kingdom
of fantasy is the best book in the world.
If you read it, I hope you liked it as much as I did. I highly recommend this book and I give it 5 paws.

Super Undies!
My favorite book is Captain Underpants. It’s about two kids that love making comics
about a crime fighting super hero. Every teacher in the school hates them. But they
don’t care. One day they bought a hypnosis ring. They thought it would be funny
to try it on their principle but something went wrong, now every time he hears
a snap he turns into Captain Underpants. The only way to get him back to normal
is to pour a bucket of water on his head.
I like this book because
it’s very funny. An example is when they change the lunch menu to something
gross and wacky. Every time they change it the principle yells at them and
gives them detention. I laughed out loud when I read the first page.
I recommend this book to
whoever is looking for a funny book. I give this book five paws.
Posted by: Rainbowdragon21Hungry for some Games!
The Hunger Games are not your ordinary games! This book is about a
girl named Catniss Everdeen and a boy named Peeta Mellark. The Hunger Games are
when a boy and girl from each district go to an arena and they fight for their
lives. Only one boy or girl can win. Which
one will survive?
I love this book because it is action packed. Catniss
and Peeta are suffering, running, or killing the whole time. Suzanne Collins
does a great job of creating characters. I felt like I was in the book and
these characters were my friends, and I felt like I was with them the entire
book. This was a great read!
I would recommend this book to anyone who can read. This book was
the best book that I have ever read, and I’ve read a lot of books I would give
this book 5 paws!
