The Big Game!

The 3-seed South Carolina Gamecocks where beating the 16th rank Kentucky Wildcats. The score was 3-0 in the 5th inning. In most innings, the Wildcats left the bases loaded. The Gamecocks where saying "Game-cocks, Game-cocks". The Wildcats scored 2 runs in the 7th and 8th innings, and it was now the top of the 9th and the score was 3-2. The Gamecocks scored no runs in the 9th, and the Wildcats were at the top of their line up. Austin Custino got hit by a pitch. Man on first. Zac Zellers strikes out. I was so surprised that he did not get a hit. Luke Maile was up to bat with a mon-on. 2-2 was the count. He swings. It's going. It's going. It is GONE! A 2-shot home run for Luke Maile! Helmets fly everywhere. The center fielder stretched across the fence trying to catch the ball. At first, I thought he did, but he dropped it. The Kentucky Wildcats are 19-0!

GEMS will shine!

GEMS is a running program at our school., it stands for Girls Empowered Motivated to Succeed. GEMS is only for girls. In the beginning, middle, and end of the program we have 3K or 5K races. I like GEMS a lot because it helped me improve on pacing myself in soccer, and believing in myself. Now that I've done GEMS I can keep up with my best friend and run a 5K without stopping.

Super Soccer

I believe that soccer is the best sport ever invented because of the rules. You can't use your hands unless you are the goalie or or you are doing a throw in. Soccer is all about leverage, speed, and balance. You can not rely on your hands for everything in soccer. The best part is if you are in bored one day, you can go outside and do some soccer. If you kick the ball into the net without the goalie touching it, you scored. That is why I like soccer.

I survived

The book series I survived is about kids who are in some of the deadliest situations. The newest one, I survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor, is about people from Japan who are sabotaging the Americans from they what the did in World War II. The Americans want to throw the Japanese people in jail. There is just one problem. One of the main character's friends is Japanese, and his dad has already thrown him into jail.

Do you know what will happen next?

My Special Weekend

I had a big, huge plan last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Friday, I stayed after school for PAWS performers and then I went to a special ceremony at my church. On Saturday, I had my last game before basketball season was over, and my coaches gave me a new basketball. Then I went home, invited some friends to come over, and played with my new ball. My dad's friend came over, and surprised me with a new basketball goal. You fill the base with water, so that if we have a heavy windstorm it won't blow over. But that's not all. We went to the goodwill and got lots of stuff. I got new shoes, a new jacket, and a new belt, which did not last that long. When we got back I went outside to play basketball, even though it was cold. Then on Sunday I played outside again. It was so fun that I stayed out there. That night, I fell on my bed happy, and fell asleep before my head it the pillow.

Dandelion Bead Shop

The Dandelion Bead Shop is a place where you can buy beads and make a necklace, earrings, bracelets, and even rings and key-chains. Too, the beads are cheap, depending on size.
A bead the size of a golf ball is 7 or 8 dollars. The people that work there can help you make your necklace, bracelet, earrings etc. The beads look so cool. I saw one that was blue with lime green spikes.
I give the Dandelion Bead Shop 5 paws.

Plants vs. Zombies

I love the video game Plants vs. Zombies. I love it because it is awesome. You can buy plants and then upgrade them, and when you pass certain levels you can unlock new plants. There are 5 different places to play--the front yard, front yard at night time, the backyard, the backyard at night time, and the roof. The roof is the hardest level. On this level, there is a big bump that the pea shooters can't shoot over. So you have to use catapult plants that can go over the bump. I like Plants vs. Zombies.
I give this game 4 paws

Unfair Science Fair!

At our school, only 4th and 5th graders can go to the county science fair. I think it is unfair that 3rd graders can't go. If they do a good job on there science fair project, they only get a ribbon. What can you do with a ribbon?

Why can only 4th and 5th go and not 3rd? I think it's not fair to our 3rd grade students. What if third grader had a science fair project that showed how to solve cancer. They still wouldn't get to go to county. Why?
