Beyblade Fun!

BEYBLADE

Beyblade is game were you rip tops in a plastic arena. The Beyblade that is the last one spinning wins. There are 4 different types of Beyblades: defense, stamina, attack, and balance. There are different arena that helps different Beyblade types. For example, some beyblades are good on curved and some are good on flat. The best part is seeing them battle in the arena.

I love Beyblade a lot because it has what I like—building and fighting. For example, some Beyblades have different forms like big and small and short or tall. Some are be bulky some aren’t. You can also take apart Beyblades and put different pieces on them so there better, but sometimes it doesn’t make them better. When they clash they make clinking sound. Each Beyblade as an animal that the Beyblade gets its power from, like a Beyblade has a dragon as the Beyblade symbol. It’s a fun game to play if you are bored.

I give Beyblade 5 paws.

The Sandlot!

Have you ever thought what it is like to be the new kid on the block? Smalls discovers life can be pretty difficult. Smalls is not very athletic, and when a few of the neighborhood boys invite him to play baseball he jumps at the chance to belong. When he secretly borrows one of his new stepdad’s baseballs, one of the boys hits it over a fence. The soon discover that the ball was signed by Babe Ruth, so they try to get it back. The legend goes there was a monster and he lived in a junkyard. People took stuff from the junkyard and he ate them. Will the boys get it back, or will they be eaten by the monster?

I like this movie because I really like baseball. I liked that the boys in the movie played baseball just to play. They didn’t need grown-ups to play, they just played. This is a really great movie, and I watch it over and over!

If you like baseball and monsters I would recommend this movie. I give The Sandlot five paws.

Will You be the Next Monkey Warrior?

In Monkey Quest there are 20 levels, and, of course, the first 2 levels are the easiest levels. You try to defeat an evil monkey.

I love this game because in Monkey Quest there are many things to do, and I never get sick of it. The game is awesome because you get to create a monkey, name it, and play the game. This game has many things such as monsters, shops, and many more. There are monsters such as the bat hog, the crawler, the tiny little monsters, and dragons. If you kill a magma creature, make sure you have complete health. You pay for things with bananas. You can buy things like clothes, potions, and weapons. I love this game and I could play it forever and ever.

I think you should try this game and I give this game, and I give it 5 paws.

The Hunger Games

Have you ever wondered what it’s like to fight for your life? Well for Katniss Everdeen, a character in the Hunger Games, that’s her everyday life. It all started on the day of the reaping. The reaping is where you get your name drawn to compete in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games are no ordinary games, but a game where one boy and one girl from each district come together and compete against each other for survival. If you win you get money and a house. If you lose you die.

I like this movie because it is very adventurous. An example of this is like when Katniss goes hunting for her food in the woods, or when she shoots arrows across the sky. I also love how realistic fiction this book is. An example of this is when she hunts squirrels and trades them for bread from the baker. As I was watching it I could not take my eyes off the screen.

I give this book five paws.

Maze of Bones

Ever wondered what it’s like to be part of a family that shaped human civilization? That’s the Cahill family for you. 14-year-old Amy Cahill and her 11-year-old brother Dan Cahill are a part of the Cahill family that, over thousands of years, has created the human population. When the Cahill kids’ grandmother Grace dies, the race for the 39 clues has begun in the Cahill family. Amy and Dan’s parents died in a fire and their kids have to live with their Aunt Beatrice. Because they chose to go for the hunt and have given up a million dollars, Aunt Beatrice has them wanted by Social Services.  Now the kids can’t give up on the hunt. Once you join the hunt, you can’t change your mind. The prize is eternal (never ending ) power that only one team can get to before all the others get even a hint of what you can do with it. Will they automatically lose and be eliminated, or will they win the clue hunt and have the power to rule the world? Find out by reading this beginning book of a series full of action, suspense and surprises!
I love The Maze of Bones for the adventure across the world. From Boston to Korea, from Egypt to Japan, Cahill family members will hunt for the clues. They make alliances with other teams but are from time to time double-crossed.  The 4 Cahill branches (Ekaterina, Janus, Thomas, and Lucian) fight other branches and even betray other branch members for the grand prize. There goes a Cahill legend that the original Cahill children Katherine, Jane, Tomas, and Luke fought because of their father, Gideon Cahill’s death. Each kid thought the others had ambushed their father, but none of them killed Gideon. That’s where the Madrigals come in. The ancestor of all Madrigals, Madeline Cahill, was taught by her mother (Olivia Cahill) that the only thing that now matters is bringing the family back together. Gideon had made a serum that he and 4 of his children drank. Madeline didn’t get any at all because she wasn’t born yet, so her family branch was made of unenhanced pacifists that, for centuries, have worked together to bring the family back together. The Ekaterinas are pure geniuses, Janus are artistic in many ways, Thomas are the athletic ones, and the Lucians are good at planning things. Maybe finally Madrigals can bring the fighting and crazed family back together thanks to Amy and Dan Cahill. Like I said before, I absolutely love this book.
That is why I liked the Maze of Bones. I give this book a rating of-- wait for it-- five paws.

Hotel Transylvania

Have you ever wondered where monsters go when they just need to get away?  Well maybe you should ask someone at Hotel Transylvania.   The owner of the hotel, Dracula, has been working on a big project for 118 years. Little does he know a human is either going to save his hotel or burn it to the ground.   If you want to find out what happens then watch the movie.
I think that this movie is hilarious.  An example of this is when the human dressed up as Franken Stein and sang in front of the hotel.  I also think that this movie is telling how parents are not ready to let their kids see the real world.  Another reason I like this movie is because it is very sad.  One example of this is in the beginning of the movie when you learn why Dracula hates fire.  Those are some examples of why I loved this movie.
I recommend this movie to all people who love fantasy. I give this movie 5 STARS!!!!
